All the ingredients combine to make Soccer the most popular sport in the world. In the past couple decades, I analyzed the reduction on goal scoring. The answer is Direct Play. 85% of all goals are scored from five consecutive passes or less.
More passes will result more time and will allow the opponent to recover. Direct play will produce more goals.

Camp Hours:
9:00 to 12:00
5:00 to 8:00

Fitness Training: 
Soccer Speed, Fast Footwork, Coordination, Stamina & Strength, Mental Toughness, Agility, Balance. 
In the modern game of soccer, as the level of competition increases so does the speed of the players.
Running speed (without the ball) must be developed with technical speed (Running with the ball) if players and teams are to exploit weaknesses in the opposition.

Technical Skill:
Learn all the right moves to become a Soccer Star.
Running with the ball, Turning with the ball
Trapping the ball, Tackling, Ball Control, Feint & Dribbling, Passing, Shooting, Heading, Diving, Goalkeeping, positioning.

Tactical Skill:
The difference between winning and loosing is often the successful execution of Set Play situations both on offense and defense. In a 12 games season what if you could score 3 more goals and concede 3 less goals – a 6 goal spread? The difference between a winning season and a losing season.

MOMCSL PRESENT 5V5 PLUS GOALIE

5v5 is one of the most important steps for players to learn how to transition on the bigger
field.
It’s also one of the most important sizes for small sided game structure.
The 5v5 leagues consist of 4 players on the diamond shape & 1 player in the middle.
Instructional league starts Saturday January 17th & end Saturday March 7th for 8 weeks.
Skill training start Sunday January 18th for 8 weeks from 6 to 7 PM or 7 to 8 PM.
5v5 is a great way to keep the players active in the Winter
All skills of the games can be developed while playing 5v5
Techniques, Coordination, Fitness, Vision, Awareness & Communication
Here is the schedule for the games.
6 to 7 PM for age 5 to 7.
7 to 8 PM
8 to 9 PM
9 to 10 PM

Waiver Information

I certify that my child(ren) is in good health and is/are able to participate in physical activity including all sports. I agree to hold SPD, its agents and employees harmless for any and all claims for injuries sustained during my child(ren)’s participation in the program. Permission is granted for my child(ren) to receive emergency medical treatment.

Credit Policy

A voucher for the full program fee will be issued for any cancellation prior to the program. No cash refunds.

RULES OF THE GAMES:
1. Team with possession must make at least 3 consecutive passes before scoring a goal.
2. For U11 & Up all players have to touch the ball at least once before a goal is scored.
3. All teams will have a minimum of 6 players & a maximum of 8 players.
4. Everybody will play.
5. Games are 50 minutes or two 25 minute halves.
6. No cleats all flat shoes & bring your shin guards.
